There are lots of things that scare me. Public speaking scares me. Talking to someone else about my feelings scares me. Even sending out a blog post notes sometimes scares me.
When something scary comes up, I feel a fearful voice asking me to be careful and play it safe. It’s asking me to step back into my comfort zone.
And then I remember this Seth Godin quote: “If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try.”
So I do the things that scare me anyways, like getting on stage, saying, “I love what I do,” and sending out a blog post each day.
I may never stop being scared about these things. But I know that the scary things are usually the things most worth doing.
