Working hard on things that matters

I don’t think winners beat the competition because they work harder. And it is not even clear that they win because they have more creativity. The secret, I think, is in understanding what matters.

Working hard on the right things, creating things that matters is what I think is important.

It is difficult to work on things that matter when you are surrounded by people who want instant things at low prices.

In a society that want instant gratification at lower prices and they want them as in like yesterday, it is easy to be tempted to do work hard on such things, to cut corners and offer cheap things.

Knowing the difference between working hard on things that matter, and working hard on shortcuts is where true success lies. The former is working hard, the latter is working long.

Work hard on things that matters. Your work is your pleasure and reward, not punishment.
