Survival is not Enough: Lead Change


Everything in our world, from marketing to technology to distribution to the capital markets, is moving at a faster pace than ever. Yet most companies view change as a threat, and survival as the goal.

We can evolve our companies the same way nature evolves a species. Evolution is a fundamental force of nature.

People change whether we like it or not, you are not the same person you were 10 years ago, you have changed. Companies change as well.

The question is not whether you change or not, it is are you changing for the better or for the worse.

If you are changing for the better, chances are you are making a conscious approach to your life, when you are changing for the worse is when you are either resisting change or surviving with each wave of change.

Life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.

Change often happens gradually, silently, drip by drip.

A company that evolves can become ever more profitable.

Don’t manage change, lead change.

The formula for success whether the market is up or down, whether technology is hot or not, in all industries, from retail to tech to restaurants is to pro-actively change.
