Owning up…

It is easy to say you have character when things are going very well… The true test of character, is how you behave when the chips are down.

When you are losing, it is tempting to point fingers at anyone and everyone else, except you.

When you see someone taking responsibility instead of blaming others, you feel a little more comfortable owning up to your mistakes.

As a leader, you set the tone.

When you blame others and point fingers, others will do the same, they will point fingers and blame others, including you.

But when you own up to your responsibilities, you make it easier for others to own up to theirs too.

Own up.
