Humans love going to see other humans. It is been happening forever.
Humans will pack a stadium to watch other humans play sport [Superbowl, Chiefs vs. Pirates, Barca vs. Real Madrid, Pacquiao vs. Mayweather]
Humans love going to watch a live concert [Casper Nyovest’s FNB Fill Up concert that was filled up]
Humans love going to watch comedy shows [David Kau’s Black Only Comedy Show is always sold out]
Humans love watching The Batchelor, Idols, soapies etc.
Humans love going to watch a play at the local theatre.
We love going to movies to watch other humans play big roles.
The TED and TEDx tribes fill up venues to watch other speakers deliver riveting talks.
Watching other humans is something so ingrained in us, so time tested that it is easily forgotten and overlooked.
But if you and your show can be the humans other humans want to see, you have tapped into the thing that does not go away.
And more specific to entertainment…
Humans love to watch humans act out and tell a story. This type of thing goes back a bazillion years. Look it up.
So it is simple… Are you telling a story where you are the people other people want to come and see?
Is you business, brand, product, service, telling a story where other people want to embrace, see and follow?
